with Tom Crean, Indiana University Head Coach; former Marquette University Head Coach; 2x Conference USA Coach of the Year; 2003 NCAA Final Four
Coach Crean opens this presentation with offensive strategies against the Box and one defense. Two special plays, Post and #1 Strong, are demonstrated on the floor in a 5-on-5 setting. Both sets take advantage of opportunities available when the zone is attacked properly. Raider is a special play used against the 3 Out 2 In defense.
Plays with 1 or 2 seconds remaining are demonstrated that will give you a chance to win games at the buzzer. Crean shows a box OB play with multiple options with 2- and 3-point features.
The stack OB play becomes a 1-4 flat alignment featuring a hard cross screen and seal by the screener.
From the side OB situation, the Triangle plays are designed for an open 3-pointer or a lay up. In the half court, a series of plays are strategically executed to score at key times late in the game. These plays include 2- and 3-point options, hand offs, several types of screens, multiple pick and rolls and penetration. These strategies are clarified by adding five defenders to defend these plays. This DVD is packed with tips, plays and ideas for late clock success!
